PARENT CNA

The parent CNA program is perfect for parents who have children with special health needs. Why choose between work and staying home to care for your child when you can be a paid Certified Nursing Aid (CNA) for your child? Our parent CNA program enables parents to stay at home to provide the necessary care to children while receiving pay to support your family.

Parent CNA can also open up new career opportunities if you’re interested in choosing healthcare and nursing as your profession. Once you’re a certified nursing assistant, you can work outside of the confines of your home and pick up other clients to further increase your income and build nursing experience.
Parents having children with complex disabilities are particularly recommended to receive schooling as CNA. It enables parents to focus full-time on providing the necessary care for their child and make money for it. The parent CAN program also empowers you to provide the care your child needs if you’re living in an area suffering from a shortage of qualified professionals to attend to your child’s needs.
The process for signing up to the parent CNA program is simple. It starts with an in-home evaluation to determine your child’s health and nursing needs. Our staff will then assist you in finding and enrolling in a CNA program to earn your license. Once you’ve completed the CNA program, we’ll provide the guidance you need to get started with taking care of your child’s needs as a full-time job.
