THERAPY

Therapies We Provide

Physical Therapy

Our trained physical therapists diagnose each person to understand the underlying cause of their injury or disability. This diagnosis then enables us to develop a personalized treatment plan with definite goals. For instance, if the primary problem a patient is facing is pain in the joints or other parts of the body, the treatment plan will center around pain management. Other cases that require physical therapy include patients with mobility problems or impaired function. In these scenarios, the therapy must focus on improving mobility and restore functionality to the affected part(s) of the body. We adhere to safety standards to administer effective therapies in the safest and most health-affirming way possible for our clients.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy (OT) is beneficial for people of all ages. It is geared towards addressing the physical, emotional, and cognitive problems a person may have. Our staff uses a combination of exercises, activities, and other therapies to help people reclaim independence to the best of their abilities.

In the context of child care, OT can help improve motor skills to develop safe behaviors, such as holding and releasing toys carefully. It can also children develop good and ergonomic habits for typing with a keyboard as well as writing with a physical pen. We identify the particular problems your loved one(s) may be facing mentally, physically, and emotionally and devise an OT therapeutic plan for helping our clients find the independence they need to lead fulfilling lives.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy (ST) addresses problems with language, speaking, and swallowing. ST helps individuals learn the use of their voices properly. It often involves exercises to improve the use of muscles responsible for proper and safe usage of voice. It is also effective for the treatment of certain speech disorders and impairments. Our ST specialists use a variety of techniques, including exercise, activities, and other therapies, to help clients improve language, speech, and swallowing problems. ST typically takes a long time before signs of improvement become apparent. But with persistence, we’re generally confident that ST will help our clients regain confidence in themselves with better communication and safe and effective usage of vocal cords.
